First thing you need to do is go in and get a full set of xrays to see how bad things are. That will cost you around $100-$150- at least that is what it is in my area.
If the decay is too deep and if you want to save the teeth, It's possible to do a root canal, then a crown. That is spendy- you are talking about $400-$600 for the root canal, then around $500-650 for the buildup and crown (per tooth)
It is possible that if the decay isn't too deep or close to the pulp or nerve to just have a filling done. You will need xrays to find out.
Or you can get them extracted. That's only about $150-175 per tooth (again that is based on my experience in my area. It could be more or less depending on where you live)

David in this day and age there is loads of things that can be done.
A good dentist will do all he can to save a tooth.
Root canal is costly, as are crowns, but hopefully you live somewhere where you can get free treatment if on a low wage.
Even if a tooth snaps off and the root is still firmly in the gum, they use what is called a "post", made of metal this is pushed into the part of the tooth in the gum, then a crown is sat over the post.
I have one of these done on a front tooth which I broke.
I am lucky that at the time I was out of work and it was done for free.
Where you have to have teeth removed amd it leaves a gap say at the front, you can have what is called a "bridge".
A fake tooth is held in place peramanantly by the good teeth on each side of the gap, it stays in and is not took out to be cleaned like normal false teeth or ones that clip in.
I sense from your questions that you really would like to have your teeth smartened up, make the first move and go for a checkup, find out what can be done for you.

Here is a program that will work well for you:
Step1 - Go to a dentist.
Step 2 -Follow his or her advice.
Decay is infection and that infection is running rampant throughout your body. You don't want to be messing around with that scenario.

try googling 'free dentists',,,the wait is ussually long,,so hurry and get on a waiting list. another option (if you have good credit),,is ask the dentist if they have pay plans,,,another option is borrowing
Good luck!

They would probably have to do root canals. But it's cheaper to just have them pulled.
