How can you place your child in danger and not stand up for your child??As a mother I don't understand some women I really don't..How can you watch your child be abused by a stranger who you meton the internet??? Makes me sick!!Poor child...

The guy of course is at fault too but the mother just upsets me way more..Because I"m a mother 2 toddlers and my son is the same age as baby grace.. I feel so terrible for the poor child.l..at this age you are everything to your child!!

April if you let yourself be abused You have very LOW self esteem especially if you can LEAVE. Let me tell you something I was abused as a child and into my teenage years i ATTEMted suiced at 14.. I left my parents house at age17 and never went back. YOu know what I have a choice and there is no way in hell someone is going to lay a hand on my children or me because unlike children I have a choice!! MY kids will not be abused!!

Yeah, and the guy wasn't even the father. Why did she pick such a bum? No wonder her grandma was pushing for her to be found. Any woman who picks a bum needs her kids taken from her.

That is horrible isnt it! I agree, I think the mother is more to blame in this situation. What kind of mother would let her child be in that situation. If my husband and I ever broke up, and I get a boyfriend or new husband, he will NOT babysit MY child, he will not discpline MY child, he will not be Dad to MY child. That may sound a bit overboard, but look at the news...
I am not sure if you are familiar with the Kelsey Briggs story, but it happened in Oklahoma and this exact thing happened to this little girl except the Dept. Of Human Services was called SEVERAL times and they never did anything and finally the step father punched her in the stomach and it killed her and the mother knew it was happening and was abusing the little girl herself! DHS never interviened or attempted to save that little girl... its sickening!!! The only thing I can say positive about any of these situations, is those poor babies are now safe.

Baby Grace's mother is the number 1 killer/abuser as far as I'm concerned.
She left a home, with the baby's father and grandmother, went to this other man in Texas...and then ADMITS to helping to hit her with belts and abusing her!
She could have called the biological father at ANY TIME, or the grandmother, and they would have taken her!
Taken her to a neighbor until they were able to get her.
Taken her ANYWHERE but in that home!
NO, SHE IS GUILTY...AND SO IS HE!
THEY BOTH DESERVE ANY PUNISHMENT GIVEN TO THEM.
MY PRAYERS GO TO THE FATHER AND FAMILY THAT BABY GRACE IS NO LONGER WITH!

What makes it crappy is that they're being held on 350000/bond for Tampering with evidence & injury to a child. The child was Murdered "Tampering"....maybe, "Injury" Yeah right. I hate how we've become big ******* (sorry about using that word) and are too scared to give people the punishment they need....That's why people get away with murder....80 years ago, a linch mob would have stole them from the jail, beat them, and put them in a tree. That's just my two cents.

I completely agree! A parent's obligation is first and foremost to his/her child, and he/she should always put the child before a spouse or a romantic partner! Baby Grace's mother is proof positive that some people shouldn't have children!

This story just makes me so sick. I honestly cried when I read what actuall happened to her... I figured it wa something like this when I first heard that they had found Baby Grace.
I agree with the other poster, they should both be beat and tortured. There is no excuse for what they did. No justification. These people are DISPICABLE!!

they are both completely at fault. as mom it is your duty to do EVERYTHING you can to protect your child from harm. these two people are the lowest of the low. there is no punishment here that is harsh enough for them. they will start serving their sentence when they report to hell. i have ZERO tolerence for ppl who abuse innocent children in anyway. the only good thing is atleast the beautiful little girl is in a better place

There is someone else who is the blame. This child's natural father should have kept up with his child. He should have been visiting his child and taking an active part in her life--particularly when he knew that this woman was foolish enough to bring a stranger in the house. Yes, the mother should be blamed. But the father bares as much guilt as she does!

Makes me sick, too! that girl was adorable!! How can you just watch someone you just met do that to your little girl? And then hiding her body and throwing it away ?? No guilt? How could she live on like that? The mother is only 19, but she should get the full responsibility for her actions.

Well the reason i looked at this very much! My sister looks just like that lil girl! All i could picture is that being her! So i thought of it! If the grandmother identified her and nobody ever filed a missing person. Why shouldnt they be asking the grandmother questions?
