I hope you find him soon. I'm not sure if he will come back but I hope he does.
Male cats can smell females 10 miles away and they WILL travel that distance. Put up posters, ask people and talk to the RSPCA for better advice on what to do. Some of my cats have gone missing before for days and chances are they're usually trapped somewhere like in a bin and cant get out. Statistically speaking, most cats are found within a 3 house radius, but it depends on how long you've had your cat and how well it knows you.
Good luck on finding him =) I hope you do!

My friends had a cat that took off for 2 months. The day they went to get another cat, he showed up. They have a mind of their own. Mine has run away twice, and I have always found her. Walked around the neighbor with kitty treats shaking the bag. I hope he comes home soon.

I would say he was on the prowl, but three days seems like a stretch post flyers, check all shelters. I remember in my neighbourhood bout this time cat went missing, it was gone for like 2 months about January turned out the cat was locked inside a shop the owner had gone away for christmas the cat was alive, but very much hungry i think he survived on stuff like bugs im not sure.
Hope you find your cat, Best of Luck

I also have a male cat and he takes off for weeks at a time looking for females in heat. I have not had him fixed but I had both my female cats fixed. I figure if people don't want their female cat having kittens then they should keep them inside or have them fixed like I did for mine. One of my female cats has not been home for about 4 weeks now. Where I live, people kill cats weather or not they are fixed and I think my cat is dead. This is not the first time this has happened to one of my cats and if I ever find out who is killing my cats (they shoot them) I WILL have them arrested because my cats only go hunting (natural instinct) for mice and things. My female cat has never been gone before for more than a day or two and she doesn't like strangers. I really miss her.

Our cat used to hide inside garages when the door was open, then get locked in, so you could check neighbours sheds, garages etc. You could also try your local vets and animal rescue centres to see if he's been handed in (ie. he was lost), particularly if he's not microchipped. Unfountunately if he's been missing for 3 days its probably not going to be good news.

Ask the local vets if they have had an RTA brought in, phone local cats homes to see if he has been picked up. Put ads in the local shops and ask people to look in sheds and outhouses, garages etc.

i exploit Arm and Hammer large Scoop, which i individually like for scent administration. I had 2 cats and scooped 2x an afternoon, and it rather worked large. Now if one (or greater) of your cats is spraying (in or out of the container) that's one i can't answer. some years in the past a cat I had began spraying or maybe after he surpassed, we under no circumstances ought to get the spray scent out of the wall he sprayed, even after portray over it two times! that's a tricky one. good success getting some selection for this; was hoping I helped a splash. (I linked additionally a link to a Yahoo solutions that grow to be voted superb answer on the venture of spraying).

I would put money on there being a female on heat somewhere in your neighbourhood and he is in a queue, waiting for his turn.
However I would phone around your local vets and find out if anybody has bought him injured. They normally have the rspca collect any injured unclaimed animals.

1. He's chasing females.
2. He's got himself trapped.
3. He's found another home.
4. He's been run over.
I'm a cat owner too and I hope it's number one.
