I agree there are no rules. It all depends on the child and what time they wake up! My son usually wants a cup of milk first then he waits about 45 minutes and gets hungry. Your child will let you know they are hungry.

i give milk upon waking up, wait 1 hour, then eats. takes about 20 min to eat. so from like 7:30ish to almost 8.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule...just whatever works best for you and your child. My son eats breakfast between 7-8.

I'd say whenever they say they are hungry, feed them. My daughter just says she's hungry and that's when i make her something.....every kid is different though. If they dont tell you when they are hungry I'd say from when they wake up to and hour and a half later is when they should eat...but it really depends on your schedule.

Immediately after they wake up. My daughter always wants to eat first thing. Have something handy, like dry cereal or yogurt on hand while you prepare her something else.
