Worry? Why? He sounds like a normal 13 year old. All boys that age masturbate so get used to it. To try to prevent it would be abnormal and something to worry about. If he wasn't doing it, then you should worry. Be thankful he is healthy and normal.

yeah, he's just being a boy. I don't know him, but when I was a boy, I did use those posters for visual stimulation during masturbation, that is till I found the good stuff on the internet. that's where you have to watch him. I'd recomend asking about some monitoring software on here. and thank God it's not pictures of guys on the wall ;)

whether he has christina posters or not..he WILL do what you're referring to. It's just a part of growing up so don't worry about it. I think the posters are fine as long as they're not too revealing. Christina: Yes. Pam Anderson: No

He's 13. If he's not doing the deed to those posters, he's doing it in the bathroom with your Sear's catalouge. Accept that he's going thru puberty.
However, you may want to ask yourself what those posters are teaching him. Will he have realistic expectations of what normal women look like? Will he objectify women based on how they look or what little clothing they are wearing?
I can promise you one thing....he doesn't have those posters because he appreciates her music.

more than likely he's doing more than looking at them but he's 13 he's a boy and wether you like it or not he's gonna do what your thinking with or without the posters but the posters should come down if not that is how he's going to objectify women

Children at this age are extremely curious about sex and are starting to have an increased sex drive. I think that not allowing him to explore these feelings is going to cause him to backfire and seeking it in other ways.

I get that it seems like a slippery slope, but all boys are going to ejaculate one way or another and I'm sure you would rather he masturbates in the safety of his own room instead of pursuing sexual relationships with classmates.

13 is a trying time in a child's life. He is just starting to realize that girls are not icky. let him keep the poster because at least he's at home doing things and not outside doing them.

Yes, you should worry. By allowing your son to have these posters, you are teaching him that it's okay with you if he looks at women as objects. I don't think this is a value you want your son to learn.

Hahahahaha! You're funny! Isn't that what ALL 13 year old boys do? Don't stunt the poor boy's growth! So what IF he's doing something more? It won't kill him! He's a natural boy. Just be glad he doesn't have pictures of a guy up there!

He is acting like a normal, curious 13 year old male.

Leave him alone and don't worry about what he's doing. Whatever it is has been happening since humans stood upright and is completely normal.

If you start in on him, he will start getting a warped view of himself and of sexuality.

It is a normal part of growing up. Just swallow whatever it is your stressing over.
