Whenever a court must make a determination as to the custody and/or placement of a child, or must decide on a petition for termination of parental rights, the court must weigh whether that decision bwill be in the best interests of the child. “Best interests of the child” generally refers to the deliberation that courts undertake when deciding who is best suited to take care of a child. You have no rights, and your child have no rights. It's all up to the courts.

If you are talking about Los Angeles California. There is NO set visitaional age for children in California due to divorce. If you want to spend time with a certain sibling I suggest you ask the person who has custody of you to take you to speak with the judge about the matter. If that parent won't then ask your other parent. Simply go in and talk to the judge and tell him/her your feelings in the matter. The court is not there to keep you seperated from your siblings, the judge will listen to what you have to say and then determine what the best course of action would be.
