Yes, it's probably too late. Lying on a job application is never a good idea, and more and more employers are verifying your info so it's pretty likely you'll get caught.

A home schooling program won't help you unless you actually completed their program, and you can't get signed up and do that in a weekend. Completing a home schooling program would take about the same time as a regular high school program.

This job is probably gone. But either go back to school and finish, or get your GED, so you don't run into this in the future. It's getting harder and harder to get any job without a high school diploma or being in school working towards one.

You should tell your prospective employer that you didn't graduate and that you lied. It is wrong to lie when trying to get a new position because eventually the lie will catch up to you. Most employers now verify the background of a prospective employees to see if they are not thieves or wanted by the FBI. If your employer can't accept that you lie, then good luck at finding another place of employment.

I'm afraid you blew it. Falsifying your application is serious. If you lied now, how can they trust you to do your job and keep company proprietary information private. Good luck on your next application.

Go get your GED so you won't have to lie anymore! You do realize its a crime to lie on an application!
