Salvation is a free gift offered by Jesus Christ to sinners.
Why are you so cynical? Is it easy for you to have prejudices about Christians rather than learning the truth for yourself?
Tithing is not required of every Christian, however Christ did encourage us to be "cheerful givers" because every parish has material needs and the poor are always with us.

I don't follow man's interpretation of the bible. Martin Luther started that false idea.
I follow the interpretation of Christ and His Church.
And the salvation Jesus offers is a free gift. No payment is required, but we must be willing to take up our cross daily, follow His commands, and bear our sufferings with faith and patience.
Tithing (donating money) is not mandatory but encouraged because it takes money to keep a parish going - food, lights, utiliites, maintenance, etc. We must also keep a fund for the poor who come to the Church for help.

My Salvation was a free gift from God, dear one. It didn't cost me ANYTHING, but it did cost God His Son.
Having lost a son, I have a little bit of an idea how that feels, even though my son wasn't crucified like Christ was.
The offerings I give to God of my time and resources, have nothing to do with my Salvation. I give BECAUSE I am His, not so I WILL be His.
God bless!

...your answer is found in Scripture... Ephesians, chapter 2 vs. 8 & 9. (paying and donating has nothing to do with Salvation... maybe tithes and offerings but not Salvation).

Contact your local Baptist church for details, and have your credit card ready.
They have what is called Spontaneous Salvation. It may be more expensive but it's worth it, for you bypass Judgment Day and all the long lines and nasty paperwork.

It costs all your law if it's to be eternal salvation.
The other sort is temporal: saved + destroyed.
