Why can't i go to the sun?

why can't i visit the moon?

Is it really free will? Or is it just a finite number of choices?

Like a white rat in a maze, you can go left or right, but you don't have "free will" to go wherever you want...

Most of you agree that my choices are limited...like a rat in a maze then?

About the rat maze, if the rat can go either left or right, but going left leads him to the food and going right leads to an electrified floor, which way do you think the rat is going to go if he's learned the maze?

We can't truly have free will because, even when we seem to have different choices, we will choose the alternative that is most gratifying. Our environment determines what choices we have and our needs determine what choices we make. There's no room for free will.

You can certainly choose to go on a death mission to the sun, or work for NASA and visit the moon. It really just boils down to what choices you choose to make. A rat chooses to go left, right, or ( unexpectedly) over the side of the maze!) Like a rat you have the choice to go left, right, sit still and not go through the maze, over the side, bite or not bite the person who picks you up...etc...etc... the possibilities are endless! :)

You do have the free will to learn how to become an astronaut and build a rocket and fly anywhere you want to...it's your own limitations that prevent you from doing that.....oh, and the money - that's a pretty big factor, too.

Free will and predestiny walk hand in hand...you make choices that open certain doors......the path of the gymnist is not going to be the same as the path of a math teacher....

Free will does not mean that you can go to the sun if technology does not alow it. You do have the free will to become a scientist and MAKE the technology to do these things. If you have not put the effort into building the equipment to get you to the sun... you have no reason to ask this question.

If your mind is limited to your body you are still operating in the natural. Yes that mind is imprisoned in yesterday and tomorrow. If you will come to the now and dwell with the mind of God, He can take you to a place where you can see the whole maze at once.

You have the free will to accept God and Jesus Christ. Or not. Otherwise, your choices may be limited. Going to the sun isn't going to work. Unless you are an astronaught, your chances of going to the moon are pretty slim, too.

I agree with the other answer here you're speaking of power not choice. You can choose to go to the sun...but you weren't given the power to get there. That's why humanity has imagination something you seem lacking in.

Sure, you can go to either one anytime you want, soon as you figure out how to get there.
Free will does not mean unlimited freedom over everything (only God has that)
Free will is merely the ability to make choices.

That's not what free will is. Free will is the ability to make choices on things that are tangible. What you are talking about is power and technology to explore new frontiers.

If that was true, I would fly or become really small during embarrassing moments-you know, the type you want the earth to open up and swallow you...
good point though. Never thought of that.
