That is horrible, NOBODY should be telling people how to speak in tongues, that comes from GOD alone. I don't get how some christians can just go about telling others they should speak in tongues when the Bible is clear it is a GIFT!
You should never force yourself to do this, that is not right and it is NOT from God when you are forcing it or making it up. Which is why the bible gives examples of in the church how there is an interpreter and it comes from the Holy Spirit alone.

Tongues is a gift from God you can't teach people to speak in tongues it's just not cool! So don't be saying stuff like that! Christians don't appreciate that!

Tongues is a steppingstone to greater gifts. Here's where I want to go:
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
