Some of those are family heirlooms handed down from mother to daughter for generations--I'm Certainly not going to part with them in exchange for an IOU for a trip to happy happy land that I can't even collect on until after I'm dead--They say that salvation is a free gift anyway, so if he wants my sins, he's going to have to meet my asking price...........

Christ made an error. Because he had never commited a sin, lacking first-hand experience, he thought that sins are the worst things that human beings can suffer and therefore "pitied" us. However, very rarely we do find sins intriguing. Well, he thought he had done something to get rid of our biggest problem, but that's his error, man.

I keep wondering, out of all the martyrs, heroes and other people who died for a cause, how this was more special? Dying for someone is relatively easy, compared to living for them. In fact, we all die. Every last one of us will take a dirt nap one day. Many of us will have the displeasure of dying painfully. So, how is the death of one man truly different? Socrates died for Athens in much the same way Jesus died for his followers. Why no jewelery depicting Socrates drinking hemlock, but so many crucified Jesus baubles?

EDIT: Ace, it is "Your loss", or "You lose". Please feel free to pick one.
Goodnews, can you capitalize a sentence?
Flaw, business is "goo". Thanks for asking.

Do you really think that the Truth of the Universe has to ask you for anything? It is only God's mercy that any of His wayward creation is still in existence. You out to be glad that someone, somewhere, had enough love for you to buy you out of hell, or the separation from Truth, if you will. The price you may pay for your sins you will never be able to afford and all the temporary gratification in the Universe is not worth for ever in torment. Time to sell out my friend before it is too late.

You can refuse the gift. I promise you that NO ONE will be in heaven who does not want to be there. If you want to hold on to your "family heirlooms" go ahead. You have the right to make that choice. It is too bad that that you feel that this world can offer you more than the Almighty God and creator of all things.

Did God know abouts man's vulnerability? If so, then giving us free will and then punishing us for it is also a sin.
