What does it mean when your on a college campus walking and some girls that you pass smile at me? Is it just being friendly or is it something else? Don't get me wrong not all of them smile but some do very frequently.

it must mean these ladies are nice or interested in you...or both LOL! Whatever the case a smile is never a bad thing!

It could mean they think you're cute. It could mean they were talking and told a funny joke that made them smile.
Now if they make eye contact and smile, and then look away quickly... that's more of a flirtatious smile than a random smile that could have been directed at you or the guy behind you.

They may be flirting with you or they may be looking and smiling because they have heard a rumor on campus!
