The VERY first that I "used" was MS-DOS on an old IBM AT clone. That was when I was about 4 or 5. Later, I used Windows 3.1 until Windows 98 came out. I used Windows 2000 starting in 2002, XP briefly, and started dual-booting Vista and Kubuntu.

I am now 19, by the way.

first one was dos don't remember what version, I have used just about every PC operating system out there and can say that to me they are all about the same. Currently using vista home pro.

Don't know the name of it but it came as ROM with the first computer I ever owned. Anyone remember the Sinclair import from the mother country????

After that Commodore DOS also ROM.

Those were great days when you just powered on and the OS was already there waiting for you......

It was an IMSAI which is the computer used in the movie "War Games."

VMS on the VAX in college. My first computer at home was an Amiga 500, running Amiga OS.

Now I run Linux and Windows....and prefer 'the penguin' to Windows any day.

Hi, the first computer my father bought me had Ms-Dos 6.22 and Windows 3.11 on it. Now I use Linux though.
