From what source are you attempting to install IE 7? check your system. What version do you currently have? What do you mean by "and media.?" You have not given enough information to properly answer your question.

Try downloading Firefox instead.

WGA, Windows Genuine Advantage prevents users of illegal (pirated) Windows from getting these kinds of updates.

If you believe that your version of Windows is legal, call Microsoft, they will help you for free. Your tower / laptop should have a Certificate of Authentication "COA" sticker, or on the original box that the Windows disk came in, to prove that Windows is genuine.

If you don't have any of these, you may have been scammed by the seller.
