i think you need her concent but what you can do is set up an account whihc is just yours and then transfer all your money into it and evetually she'll realise you no longer use the account and you can get out of it

HEY you answered my question earlier about that boy I have a crush on. You misunderstood as to what I was saying. I don't want him to cheat on his girlfriend to be with me. I said that assuming they had broken up I was considering telling him, not if they are still together. I know this boy really well anyway and he would never cheat on his girlfriend! I belive you can take your own name off a joint account, but you can't take another person's name off of it.
