I'm thinking of getting a tattoo around my navel. It's a small symbol but I want it at all 4 corners(not really corners) but every side of the navel.
If I have a baby in the future, will that stretch?

that tattoo will DEFINITELY stretch out and it really depends on your genetics as to whether your skin will go back to normal also probaby your age when you have the baby. as you age the elasticity of your skin deminishes so the older you are the less likely it is to look the same but there are often questions on here from women who have had their tattoos stretch out. i wouldn't do it if i were you.

as everyone else is saying too... yes it will stretch as your skin grows. but what you should do is see what the stomachs of the other women in your family look like since having children. especially your mom's. that will really give you a good idea as to whether or not yours will go back to normal or if you'll have to worry about stretch marks and your tattoo being blurred or disfigured after. i've seen friends of mine get very bad stretch marks after having a kid and so did their moms. my mom on the other hand did not get them. in fact, she got a tattoo on her hip before she knew she was pregnant with me and it's perfectly fine. knowing this, i've gotten a tattoo on my stomach (right under my belly button) because i'm confident that if/when i have kids... mine will be fine. good luck :)

Yes it will stretch and look really bad! I have many tattoos and i regret getting some of them, but luckily i put them in places that shouldn't stretch (hopefully)
I wouldn't even get a tattoo on my belly if i was in the best shape of my life, cause it looks tacky

well, i have 2 scars from my bellybutton ring (one was a bad mess up) and i am 7 months pregnant and it has stretched out. so i can imagine a tattoo stretching. i would just wait.

yes my cousin got a sun around her navel and she had like 3 kids and its really stretched out and faded cause it got stretched so much

yes! i have a tatoo above my navel and it does stretch but as everything it will go back into place that is certain things if you know what i mean!LOL
but it will stretch but rest assured it will bounce right back.
believe me I know from experience..

I have a 1/2 moon and will get the sun on the other side in time here: sorry the pic is sooo dark

It'll stretch of course. But don't worry, it'll shrink after birth. But your tatoo will not be as original as before. Still will look okay though, cheers!
