coping skills? i have trouble dealing with stuff before i even know if there is something to worry about when something comes up mild or severe if nothing at all. and how can i ease that without turning to meds? thanks much.

I have been there and done that....counselor helps with the emotional problems you are coping with. the meds help with the medical problems but you are the only one that can get rid of what is going on inside of you. try to figure out what caused you to have depressed thoughts and anxiety and then you can try to start solving the problem. good luck

Any doctor should tell you that you need to be in behavioral therapy to learn how to cope with your problems. Before or after.
Medication has been proven to work bettter when one is in therapy. If you have insurance, they should pay for some or all of the visits. Get that checked out.
