From a guys perspective, it may be a little different, but for one it is much much cheaper (lol pay for one not two) You have freedom to do what you want when you want and not have to worry about answering to anyone. You can hang out with your friends more often. Honestly, there are not that many perks because if you find the right person to be with most of the above mentioned perks (except for the one about being broke) are null and void. If you don't really like being single, don't try to be single. If you aren't sure about getting into a relationship, take it slow, don't go looking for anyone. I am single now, and honestly I liked being in a relationship much better. I went the first 22 years of my life without dating a soul, six months later, I am single again, and hate it. Before fell in love I really didn't mind being single, now it is the worst feeling. The key really is to do what your heart tells you, but honestly trying to find the right person seems to just get you hurt so don't try but keep an open mind. Good luck to you

The thing I love most about being single is the feeling of freedom! I can do whatever I want whenever I want! I can go hang out with my friends without having to worry about my girlfriend getting mad about me staying out too late.

It's nice to be able to date girls and just have fun (and no I'm not promiscuous either). I can also do things that my ex wasn't interested in: like taking classes to learn new things (martial arts), doing other activities I enjoy (running), and travel (I plan to go somewhere out of the country this coming spring).

Another thing is I get the whole bed to myself although I did get used to having a warm body next to me. There are things I miss... but one of the things I don't miss is the "drama". No more arguments or fights over petty things. : )

being single has alot of perks, you dont have to worry about what you partner is doing.... there isnt any jealousy. you cant do whatever you want. you just have alot more freedom. I just got out of a long relationship and it sucks because im still not over her and it caused too much stress on me. im sure once im over her i will be lovin life :)

Doing what you want to do any and not having to answer to anyone. You don't have to fight about stupid things. I think it is easier to save money too. There are pros and cons to both being single and being married or in a relationship.

You are free to date whomever you want. You can date multiple men if you choose. (No, I'm not talking about sleeping around, just dating.) If friends invite you to do something that you're interested in, you don't have to check in with your boyfriend first, in case he had plans for the two of you. There's no worries about whether your boyfriend will get along with your friends or if you'll get along with his. No worries about potential heartbreak or rejection. You can do what you want to do without having to juggle your time to fit in the boyfriend/girlfriend quality time.

These are just a few off the top of my head.
