only if you're homophobic. gay's and lesbians have just as much right to hold hands in public as straight people.

Just because a guy/girl relationship is the norm, it doesn't mean that a guy/guy or a girl/girl relationship is "sick" or "disgusting." It's just that people aren't used to seeing it, and for some reason humans fear the unknown or the different. Why? Does it threaten us? Does it challenge our values? Who knows, but I do know that if two people are in love, regardless of their gender, they should be treated equally as anybody else. So if a hetereosexual couple can hold hands, than a homosexual couple can as well.
Try some empathy: Imagine a world where everyone is homosexual, but for some reason you just don't "feel" anything for the same sex. No matter what you do, you find yourself attracted to the opposite sex and falling in love with someone of the opposite sex. You follow your heart and get together with this person. As a symbol of your love, you two hold hands. All of a sudden, all of the homosexual couples are calling you two disgusting and think it's appalling. How would you feel? Probably that your right to choose whom you love is being trampled on. The only reason attention is being called to it is because everyone else is making such a big deal. But if they didn't, and just accepted it, there would be no problem.
So, just because our world has decided that hetereosexuality is the standard it doesn't make it "the only right way."

No it is not. It is sick and disgusting to see a teenage boy and a teenage girl kissing and groping each other at the mall. It is sick and disgusting what some married, heterosexual couples do to each other as they fight, yell, hit, and break up with a child in the next room. It is sick and disgusting when one race decides to "cleanse" the world of another race. It is sick and disgusting for NFL stars to pit dogs against each other in fights to the death. It is sick and disgusting what we are doing to our earth in the name of profit. And it is sick and disgusting that as far as we've come in things like black / white relationships that you would think that two men holding hands generates this kind of question.
I think you must be young to have such a limited knowledge of what exactly "sick and disgusting" is.

It's not sick and disgusting to see two gay men holding hands at the malls. I bet you don't think two girls holding hands in the malls is sick and disgusting. It's sick and disgusting when the gay men look better than your girl you holding hands with.

I don't think it is sick and disgusting, but someone who isn't used to or comfortable with the idea of homosexuality could feel that way. I feel the same way about it as if I were to see a heterosexual couple holding hands.

Why should it matter to us--they are two people who care about each other and not asking you to hold their hand---we all need to be a bit more understanding about the changing world we live in. I do not think it is sick or discusting!

I don't think it is sick or digusting, just unusual because you don't see that a lot. I don't really mind, but if they are all over each other I turn away, just like I would for a straight couple because sometimes it can get annoying!

They may think that YOU holding hands with anyone is sick and disgusting. It's all in the eye of the beholder. However, just because you don't like something doesn't make it wrong.

Only if you find gay men sick and disgusting. Otherwise it's the same as seeing any two people holding hands. Now, making out in public... that's gross to me no matter who it is.
