I've recently had my PS2 modchipped. I purchased the gaming console in the US (NTSC format) and had it mod-chipped in Israel (PAL format). whenever i try to play movies on my PS2 (NTSC or PAL format) it says "tv system doesnt match". someone help!!!

I chipped my NTSC J system in Israel too. Technician told me, that installing those chips are a quite sensitive matter. If he makes a mistake... ze baaya, ahi. But my PS2 worked fine, played games from all three regions and played movies from it's original region only. My guess - technician's mistake.

It would depend on the room you have. The distance where you sit to the TV. As a rule you should have double the distance from the screen to the viewing area. For example, for a 32" tv, you should have 64" distance from where you normally sit to the tv screen. If you have more room, you can get a bigger screen. Good luck

Maybe it has something to do with copyright protection.
