This is my first account on yahoo answers. I started out mild, and after I achieved level 2, I hit the ground running. I haven't had a violation notice on this account in a week, but prior to that, I was getting them everyday, and sometimes multiple.
I have learned. If you start out a new sub account, you have to keep it tame, and get it to mid level 2 before you start blasting away, if you don't the account gets yanked. Answer questions in music or men's health for the first couple weeks, then when it's mid level 2, introduce it to the hot topics.

I've had accounts which accumulated well over a hundred (probably closer to 200) before they were deleted, and I've had accounts that were zapped after as few as 4 or 5. There's no rhyme or reason to Yahoo's censorship of this site.
Edit: laz, TCs certainly can be deleted. I've lost about 15 or so of these tags to deletions. Lol!

LOL, are you up for a challenge?? Don't know, but I luckily haven't reached it yet. I bet they need to come within a certain time frame too because it seems the report trolls log in with multiple accounts and get someone deleted by reporting a bunch of stuff all in one day.

I have about 30 and still have my hair left.
I did notice that most come when school gets out.
I think you only have to get 1 report to loose your question or answer, not sure on the account.
If I do get deleted, good, I have many other things I should be doing. But dont because my coffee cup fits next to my 'puter nicely

It only takes one truthful question in which many morons found to be blasphemous and wrongfully decide to report it to get your account deleted.
I had an account deleted by asking a single question and I had not even answered a single question yet.
I asked the same question under this account and it was deleted appealed and reinstated, so I know for a fact that the question did not violate the TOS.

This account has 72, but I've gone out with as few as five. I think it all depends on the nature of the violation. I mainly get busted for chatting.

It depends. It seems that deletion of accounts is the only thing YA does that involves human review. Everything else is handled by algorithms.

It actually relates more to the number of times you're reported.
I have got over 15 on one account no problem, then I have had an account downed by making one comment.
