By a guy you're dating? As in...he's so cute, so smart..etc..you feel intimidated and wonder how to behave? And you feel kinda scared not to ruin it:)

I went out with this guy that I didn't think much of...then after actually talking to him he sounds really smart and cool and accomplished. I feel intimidated. I was very bubbly and easy-going during the 1st date but now that I know that he's so much more...I feel like I shouldn't be like that anymore.

You should absolutely be yourself. Whether he's the CEO of a company or a pizza delivery guy, you should never feel like you're not good enough for him or a lesser individual. He likes you for a reason, so don't change yourself or feel intimidated b/c he may be more accomplished than you at this time. Confidence is SEXY! Good luck!

One of the guys I'm dating, I'm slightly intimidated by, but not for reasons you'd expect. It's more that he knows his place in the world. He knows who he is, what he wants to do, and how he wants to give back to the world. He's found his calling, so to speak. I feel like I have no idea what I should be doing in this world. It's kind of daunting sometimes being around someone so set in this world.

But no, I don't let it interfere with my relationship. He's actually aware of my feelings and that it's not a reflection of how I feel about him, but more my own insecurities with how my own life is progressing.

Don't change who you are for anyone.

This 'intimidation' should just be channeled into motivation for you to want to better yourself perhaps academically or financially but at the same time don't compromise your self worth or personality.

If being around him makes you feel worse about yourself then theres really no benefit in the relationship.

Good luck!
