Why do you need to run two at once,, Just run one and then the other, the system restore has nothing to do with it being in safe mode,, the system restore only works when you initiate it to restore your system to an earlier date and time,,

After turning off system restore, (for those who don't know, malware can hide in system restore points), and making sure that you have a shortcut for the anti spyware programs on your desk top, reboot into Safe Mode. Allow the computer to come all the way up and show the desk top. Run the anti spyware programs from the desk top icons. When you are done, reboot and turn System Restore back on.
