Also, does anybody else play any other games and not have problems with it?
What about Spore, the new game coming out next year that lets you create an organism and let it EVOLVE over time, and they laugh by also adding a possible religion for your species.
How do you feel about those kinds of games? personally im gonna love em, have no problem with em, and cant wait to play em. So, as for YOUR opinions?

I play myself, in moderation

Wondering why you would assume that someone in the R&S section would have a problem with games like this

You may have wanted to direct your question to a particular religious grou rather than the section as a whole (since there are a good number of Atheists like me who would have no problem)

Games like WoW are good, as long as you don't let them get out of hand (all things, in moderation). You have a few knuckleheads who lose control and then make the rest of us look bad

I do not play WOW. I watched someone play it once and it looked a little too watered down. Just like mashing buttons. Although I am not into PVP so that might be where the stragity comes in.

I love Final Fantasy XI. There are so many problems with the game but it makes it that much fun to play. Its a challange. From what I hear they finally got the economic system in order and got rid of alot of the gill sellers but it is hard to find a group and almost everything requires a group. Its been over a year since I stoped playing but I know people who still play.

That spore game looks like fun.

I love computer games. If I go near them I wake up 4 weeks later and say hey where did the last 4 weeks of my life go? I can't do that. I have to do something more constructive with my life, so I don't play them. Instead I use the time to learn skillls, spiritual and otherwise.

But when Grand Theft Auto 4 comes out, I will be there, playing it non-stop for months. I just can't wait. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was so good! I look back on that game with very fond memories. Spore sounds really cool. I also loved Civilisation. Mmmm they've brought out an expansion for Civilisation 4. I could just have one little go. Just one - noone will notice...

I think many games are a good way to work on various thinking skills. On the other hand games like grand theft auto, are probably a waste of time besides being a gratuitous flaunting of authority.

Edit:
I used to play Runescape a lot, now I'm into galactic civilization 2, and will probably pick up "Withcen" soon.

i individually might decide for runescape. The gameplay won't be just about as good yet there are a number of greater helpful factors. there are a number of many skills to attempt that are all fairly exciting and relaxing to coach. Im additionally incredibly helpful that WoW isnt unfastened and you will desire to pay to play it. runescape does have a pay to play selection yet you dont would desire to. plus the only time runescape lags is whilst they're doing a huge vast vast replace which doesnt take place v ery oftentimes. If i've got been you i might persoally decide for runescape. yet i think of what you will desire to do is to test runescape (considering yyouve tried out WoW) and ascertain what's greater helpful. desire this helped

I have never heard of Spore, but I love to play WoW. I like playing with my boyfriend. Its just a game, so I don't see any problem with it.

Is it uber-nerdy of me to admit I've played Pokemon? In reference to the evolution thing.

Of course, I'm more of a console RPGer. So I don't play Warcrack. (Final Fantsay, yes. Just look at my avatar...)
