As long as Business and industries survive, there will be a need for administrators. In none of the fields where I have worked has a person been hired specifically to administrate. The heads of departments or specialties within a company usually are experienced in the specialty ie;engineering, accounting, research. Perhaps the field is open within government. But there too, administration is usually assigned to a person who has the skill and knowledge for the section he heads.

For as long as there is a Business corporation, Office Administration will be there to stay. If you know what Office Administration is all about you will not ask for sources.

Employees will be informed the course of action through Internet and mobile by their higher authorities.
Higher authorities will receive the information from their subordinates through mobile and laptop.
