I know that I'm not because they keep tell me that I am not, over and over and over . . .

I know for certain that I'm not brainwashed, and that I'm really intelligent, and really good looking, and that I don't dribble much.
How do I know for sure?
The man who stands behind me in the mirror tells me every day, but sometimes it is hard to make out what he says because of all those voices. I wish they'd shut up.

I know i'm not brinwashed because i can see how i have been brainwashed, and how i struggle within myself to break from all that was forced down my throat as truth. i still feel the urge to be altruistic and forgiving all the time, even when i know its pointless or i'm in the right and shouldnt give in.

The way to tell if you are brainwashed is if you are being denied access to other ideas and points of view.

It is very narrow-minded of people who say that someone is brainwashed because they believe something different to them, or they don't understand their beliefs.

My parents weren't very religious so the christian brainwashing didn't really have an effect on me.

There is no one here that hasn't been brainwashed. It's just that many are brainwashed by some very dirty water. The filth is stated here daily.

Jesus said:
Luke 6
45 "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks."

There is only one brainwashing that is good, and Jesus offered it to whosoever wills. But there are not that many people compared to the rest of the world that would receive this brainwashing. His brainwashing helps us to understand God.

Now look at your answers. How many people will answer will something negative? How many people will curse those who believe God and His Son rather than the rest of the world? What good will it do them to do so?

I can't see that it does them any good to curse us Christians. So what are they here for? To do evil. They have an abundance of evil in their heart, and it is natural for them to do it because they have been brainwashed into doing it daily. They have a lot of anger, resentment, misunderstandings and ignorance in them, and they display it continually on this site.

So I fully admit to being brainwashed. I was brainwashed willingly, because I see that the value of the truth out weighs the value of the world. The world does what they do because of the evil they carry around. The evil in my heart is countered by the Holy Spirit, and I may have a long way to go, but I am willing to continue of the path God has set before me. I trust Him to keep me in His will, and that is a very good brainwashing to have!

None of us safe from a good brain washing. To help combat this I think you have to stop and think just for 15 minutes a day. it is kind of meditation: first stop all thoughts completely (it is not that easy) and after just relax and imagine some nature (if you don't have it in front of you)

If you can think for yourself and realize that the people who teach you things are merely people and CAN make mistakes of judgement or otherwise...

If someone asks me a question I answer with my own opinion and ideas and not "Matthew 22:8. Read it!" I question everything. I don't follow rules just because someone in a position of power of me told me I have to.

And so on and so on...

You don't. A decieved person does not know they are decieved. All mankind is delusional. Some believe there is a God (or gods), some don't believe there is a God, or anything beyond their earthly existence, and others say they simply don't know.

So, if God is not in charge, who is? Who are we, where did we come from, and where are going...and why is everybody carrying a hand-basket?

My beliefs are based on my personal observations, not indoctrination.

If no books were written or if no other person believed as I did I would still embrace my philosophy as sound. No one taught me what to believe.

I am not brainwashed.
