They reason for this is twofold, it takes no effort and at the same time supports their fantasy about <>.
K716 equates this with scientists saying "science can't explain this yet". These are not the same, scientists are constantly seeking to answer these questions and not lazily resting on "a big god did it and ran way".
Further more, by understanding the univese we live in we make advancements such as medicine which better the world instead of inflicting pain, abuse and death.
*"chosen" is a bit of a stretch since nearly believers follow the faith they were indoctrinated in as a child by their parents.

I can't speak for Islam but your assesment of Catholics is wrong. You could say that I'm biased but I've honestly never seen a Catholic answer a question that way. Fundies yes, but Catholics no. There may have been a Catholic here or there who just didn't know the answer to a question, but in our faith the answers are all there. You just have to take the time to find someone who knows the answer or knows where to look.
And just because you don't like or understand an answer does not make it a "God did it" answer.

Tarzan is a fable. he's the made from Hollywood, not evolution. each and every actor that has performed Tarzan has had a collection of abs that anybody could be inspired by using. Do you think of that atheletic physique is renowned by using the ladies? i think of so. Tarzan does not have a beard because of the fact the Hollywood moguls wanted him to be Mr. sparkling and handsome. by using ways, while you're particularly fascinated in evolution, inspect the fairly some study on the subject of DNA that truthfully help music stream of populations.

Well, I get along with pretty much anybody. Just here on Answers once in a while I like to kick up a storm. I do it for fun and hope there is no harm done. i really think that's just part of the reason we're all here on this forum.

For some of us this is an answer, or at least the beginning of the answer. People of faith believe that there are things we will find at later on and we are able to live with the ambiguity. I am not sure however how that affects race relations, you may have to elaborate for me. Do you mean religious conflicts?

Why? Because it's easier than coming up with a real answer or real solution. I have noticed this as well. Someone asks for advice on what to do in their relationship and someone will inevitably say "Pray to God about it." How is praying to an imaginary friend going to help? Might as well ask Santa to fix your relationship problems for Christmas.

"god did it" is the easiest explanation that someone can find, just like "it was ment to be". There is no need to struggle anymore, no searching for answers, no accepting mistakes you made. Sometimes I wish i could aford it :)

That's the same thing as the evolutionists saying "that's something science hasn't learned/discovered yet."

you believe what you believe, I believe what I believe. we can get along - what are you arguing about it for? If I believe in God and you don't fine - you're entitled to your opinion as am I
