Get your legs up on a foot stool, drink plenty of water (about 6 bottles a day) to flush toxins out of you body.

Eat a very light clean diet. Avoid sweets and fats and rich foods. This can be a symptom of gout or blood clot.

I had to have a Venus Doppler test a few years ago when my left ankle and foot were swelling. That is a simple test to determine if you have a blood clot blocking a vein.

Good Luck.

I would think you would need to know the reason for the swelling before you attempt treatment. I would suggest you go to the ER, if you're unable to see your doctor right away.

Elevate feet and NO SALT until you've seen dr. Read labels before you eat today - check sodium content. Lots of salt is hidden in prepared products. Try to eat natural today. LOTS of clear water - NOT tea, coffee, koolaid, sodas.

Wait to see the doctor and do not follow advice on Yahoo Answers for a condition like this...it could be something very serious...you never know. Go to a urgent care facility they are everywhere.

You really should go see a doctor. Until then, cool some washcloths, and put them over your swollen tootisies. If this does not seem to help, then I really don't know what else to suggest.
