To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it (Deuteronomy 10:14).

For God HIMSELF, said "The world is mine, and all that is in it" (Psalm 50:12).

He even created man with the ability to comprehend elements of His creation. And through the abundance of His mercy and LOVE toward us, He gives us the choice to serve him OR reject His.

We, brethren, serve a MIGHTY God!

"As for ME and MY house, WE shall serve the LORD" Joshua 24:15

I remember in Genesis when god cast Adam and Eve from the garden for eating from the "tree of knowledge" he more or less said that they shall have to forever pursue this "knowledge" instead of living in accord with his original plan. You can make references also to these un-spiritual endevors with the "Tower of Babel" they were trying to get to heaven in the wrong manner and he confounded them to humble them, they were guided by a foolish premise, "That they could physically reach Heaven", the seeking of knowledge (god's) in the garden was another foolish idea, God's knowledge cannot be held by man. I am sure that you know these specifics in the Old Testament as well. I have been spending much time re-reading and interpreting it. The Holy Book is so full of rich wisdom. Now, I would like to point out some of the bad things that knowledge (technology) has provided for us today, dependancy on limited crops, extinction of some animals, overpopulation, polution, nuclear weapons, too much mental polution (I-Pods, Satelite, bad stuff on all medias, and separation from human contact.), and less reading of the Bible and other books. We have befouled the Temple. I believe that science is an illusion that God has created to test the faith of mankind. This illusion works but never ever will have an end. Have you ever heard an atheist say? "I don't believe in god, I believe in science." He has been confounded by his absurd ideas. The same reason he allowed a forbidden fruit in the garden and why evil is allowed to reside in this world, because if you don't have free choice you aren't truly good or evil, your a hamster, a pet, but not a man. Best wishes.

no it is not soo. where in the bible or any religion do u hear of the dinosaur or about bacteria or about the computer that u r using to read this.
al the religions were written 2000 years ago when science didnt exist and the only thing any religion teaches is to think positive so u can be happy and not to harm others so that there can be peace. the only way there could do that is to convince people that there is god who has created every thing and he will punish u if u dont listen to him.

come on think about it. there is no god but science.

It is the super-intelligent life form, somewhere in the Universe has discovered that DNA molecules, chromosomes and genes can make a program that can be encoded for reproduction and decoded for growth of a life form. This, I feel, beyond the limits of present human brain to conceive.
God did it, is the easiest and most dumb explanation.

That's very similar to what Isaac Newton (the father of modern science) said, "Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who set the planets in motion. God governs all things and knows all that is or can be done."

Newton knew that science was not to be used to try to disprove God's existence, but to get a better understanding of how God works.

Doesn't that really just sound like a rationalization for religious people to counter the fact that the existence of god or other myths can't be proved?

It's possible that there might have been a creator that set everything in motion, but scientifically it can't be proven, or disproven.

Science attempts to give natural explanations to phenomena - it has no place for supernatural explanations. It leaves those to philosophy and religion.

According to the Bible, it is not in motion.

Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”

Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

Science is real,... it is god that isn't.

The universe does not need a supernatural origin.
Scientists are working on uncovering the natural causes.
