i mean what percentage of a carrat. e.g

hey keysfergy!!!
Any news with that BFP yet. Well soon to be engaged just looking at rings and got to tell him what one i like. Ring shopping is the best especially as i get to choose. I think ill go for a carat instead of half. lol

As an internationally agreed standard in the diamond business, a carat is divided in 100 points, so 50 points are half a carat.

I have no idea, but I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Yay!

My only advice for ring shopping is make sure you get one you really like, otherwise you'll end up wanting a new one in a couple of years! LOL! I was worried about going for something too expensive, so I got a garnet instead of a diamond. I've been eyeing off engagement rings ever since!

And btw, the reason why couples get married, is to see if they can deal with the stress and survive!! Lol! So, don't leave it til the last minute to plan a wedding. I had a year and a half to plan mine. And I was still worried the dress wouldn't get here in time! It did, but I didn't need that stress.
