I think thy're different, but I do know that Splenda measures like sugar. Find a regular recipe for pumpkin pie and substitute the sugar with Splenda, and your pie should come out just fine.

Use Stevia. Also, if using the recipe on the pumpkin can, cut the milk in half and double the eggs, add 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and 1/2 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp vanilla. This increases the protien and lowers the glycemic level significantly. I get my stevia at Trader Joes. 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup will make it sweet enough.

I have never heard of sugar twin but if you are making it for a diabetic my recommendation is to use Splenda or like Wal-mart's Great Value brand replica of Splenda....I used that to make a pie for Thanksgiving and it works great....it is good for baking or just using it to sweeten foods like oatmeal...

No! you must have an old cook book. Sugar Twin is cyclamate, and splenda is sucralose.
Suggestion on using the Splenda....tastes better

NO! They both have yellow wrappers, but the similarity ends there!
