Evidently Roberts did not want to resign from the university, but that "god insisted." (does it get any funnier than that?) "God" told him that he should resign the next day. Another religious con man and crook bites the dust. I wonder what member of the Roberts clan "god" will speak to next.....

"God" was probably his wife who said something like "take your butt off the committee before they find out about the rest of the money we've been taking and the other ways we've been ripping people off to give ourselves this obnoxious lifestyle..."

God tells people to do some weird crap. He apparently told Pat Robertson to run for President a few elections back. That turned out so good for Pat....I guess that old God wanted him to look like a total a**.

Well that is a true Christian for you. They pick and choose the parts of the bible they like then they make things up as they go along. One shouldn't be surprised though, if one can believe in the Hebrew God one can believe anything.
