Flour
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

1/2 c. milk
4 servings couscous prepared according to package directions
Cut pork crosswise into 12 slices pound to 1/4 inch thickness. Dust with flour. Beat egg and water together. Dip pork into egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. Saute pork in oil, few piece at a time, until golden brown and cooked, about 3 minutes per side. Remove pork from skillet and keep warm. In same skillet, saute mushrooms in butter. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour; cook until flour is lightly browned. Gradually stir in broth, wine, thyme and pepper. Bring to boil; simmer 1 minute. Add milk, simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally. Spoon mushroom sauce over pork and serve with couscous. Makes 4 servings. Couscous is a moroccan pasta, and is very easy to prepare.

I do not have a lot of quick dinner ideas but sometimes I just look at what is in my freezer or pantry and go from there!
I have cooked some smoke sausage and added in some stir fry veggies and put them on hot dog buns and grated cheese over them..
sloppy joes or manwiches are always quick....
chicken salad or tuna salad sandwiches are quick also....
hamburgers/cheeseburgers are quick
grilled cheese and cup of soup
grilled chicken salad or cube up your grilled chicken and add stir fry veggies and serve over rice....
bagel pizzas are quick and easy.....take and split a bagel and add pizza sauce to each side. Top with your fav toppings and pizza cheese.....pop into a toaster oven or your regular oven until the cheese is brown and bubbly..

I'm making quick beef stroganoff tonight. I had leftover steak from yesterday, but you can use any meat for this, including ground beef/turkey.
Whatever meat you're using
one onion, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 can beef broth
1 cup sour cream
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Serve over cooked parsley'd egg noodles.
Saute the meat until cooked in a good sized skillet. If you're starting with cooked meat like I am (left overs), saute the onions and mushrooms first so the meat doesn't overcook. Cook them just until tender, about 4 minutes. In any case, once the mushrooms/onions (and meat) are done, combine them in a skillet. Add beef broth and reduce heat to simmer. Add Worcestershire and salt and pepper to taste. Cook about 5 minutes then remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles tossed with parsley.
This whole dinner, depending on what meat you're using, can be done in about 15-20 minutes, including boiling the noodles.

I wish you could give us some ingredients out of your icebox and cabinets so we can give you ideas. I am sure if you need a quick dinner idea, the most important thing is to work with what you got. Because if you have to go out and get the ingredients, you might as well just eat out. :)

put some boneless skinless chicken breasts in a casserole pan, cover with sliced onions, then coat with real mayonaise, not miracle whip or light mayo, sprinkle flavored bread crumbs over the top and microwave for about 10 minutes on high heat. It looks like you slaved for hours, and tastes great. Very easy and impressive meal.

when in a pinch, and i have zero cash, I will throw some chicken breasts in the oven. 350 or so. Put whatever spices I have avail on it. Frozen takes about 40 min. thawed about 20 min. Then I find whatever in the cupboard for a side dish.

one of my fave meals that quick and easy is Linguine mixed with broccoli and cheese. I buy the frozen broccoli and cheese and once my linguine is cooked add the bag of broccoli. For extras you can add boiled shrimp. once again i get the frozen ones and saute them in butter then add it in the pasta bowl at the last minute. then all u need is your salad and garlic bread. it'll probably take u 20 mins total!
