I am looking to buy my husband's Grandmother a devotional book or just a good Christian Book for Christmas this year. She is a devout Christian and very old-fashioned. Any suggestions?

Chicken Soup for the Golden Soul: Heartwarming Stories for People 60 and Over (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)

The name says it all. The Chicken Soup for the Soul series are great, light reading. They are collections of short stories and they all have a happy ending. I think this will suit your 80 year old Grandmother-in-law very nicely.

And Kudos to you, for honoring the elderly people in your life. If all goes well, we'll all be 80 someday. I hope when I'm 80 I'll have such a sweet and thoughtful young lady as you looking for a gift that will make me smile on Christmas too.

Merry Christmas!
