Good point.
I base my beliefs, or non-belief, if you will, on what I know about the world around me, my reasoning ability, logic, and what I can see with my own eyes.
What do you all base your beliefs on?...
6000 year old texts written before the scientific revolution???
I'll stick to what can be proven scientifically.

My beliefs are just right for me. Because they release serotonin and endorphins in my brain, and make me feel happy and fulfilled.
I don't try and tell other people how to live their lives or what to think. It's a supreme waste of time.

I cannot guarantee my position is right. I just see no reason to move from my default position without sufficient evidence.
Everyone should be skeptical. To stop questioning things would be an intellectual suicide.

You and everyone else has the freedom to believe as they see fit. I think it is wrong to attack anyone for their beliefs. It is a cruel and vicious thing to be intolerant.

Because mine is based on facts and not based on myths, fairy tales and a book that tells people to kill everyone that won't believe.
