There is a band, a pseudo-religion, and a sitcom in the making. The VTs, naturally, have many followers.

Definately Elizabeth Hurley. After playing Satan in 'Bedazzled,' she should be a lock for the role of VT. (Not that I think the VT's are Satanic ...)
