Unlike in Excel, in Openoffice when I highlight cells to copy and paste, I don't get a blinking marquee.?

Does OpenOffice Calc have this feature? I have already searched the OpenOffice Calc boards, but can't seem to find anything on this.

I don't think the OpenOffice folks could duplicate the look of the marquee border without getting Microsoft riled and suing them. Surprised MS has not done it already.

I have not found any way to get the border to be shown as you ask.
