We are very excited and proud of our new home and many of our friends and family live far away and may never see it in person. It is rather nice and we don't want people to be offended though. Yes or No? Thanks!

I see nothing wrong with it. For those people that visit you, they will have a nice identification picture of the home so they will know they are at the right place.

I think it's a great idea, especially since many may not have the opportunity to see your home, at least not right away. It would probably be a delight to them to have the opportunity to see pictures of your new home, knowing they may not get an opportunity to visit soon. I do agree with the others who mentioned that a photo of the house only may appear "showy," so I would get the family together for a portrait, either in front of the new house or perhaps together in your living room, if you've already had things set up.

Not at all !! I'd LOVE to see a picture of the house included with the announcement.

Put your picture on there. Heck give them a guided tour of pictures!! Dont worry about people being offended.

Congrats!

I don't see anything wrong with it. You put a picture of the baby on birth announcements, right? What's the difference?

Who would be offended. I think its a really cute idea. You could take a picture of you in front of your new home holding a sign saying "Family and Friends are always welcome in our home".

I think it would be cute if you and yours were standing in front of the house in the pic. Just the house by itself would look a bit show-offey (?) maybe.
