I swear, Mrs Donna, every time I see your questions on Answers, you make me ashamed of myself. I always thought that my faith was very strong, but when compared to yours I realise how much I have to work on it ~hangs head in shame~

Maybe you could adopt me. That way you won't have to commit that disgusting act and you'll get a real Christian. How about that?

Well, yes, there's in vitro fertilization. That's about the only way. I think a larger issue is your conviction that sex is sinful; while I don't want you to go out and spread your legs for anyone you happen to find attractive, I highly suggest you talk to a secular therapist (not a preacher or a church-approved therapist) about the issue -- some opinions from outside your religious background may help you to get a better handle on the situation than just posting here. If you don't feel comfortable with that or don't have the medical coverage, spend some time on goaskalice.columbia.edu -- they're good for almost any question.

You're kidding, right? Immaculate conception is impossible and besides, how do you know Mary even existed?

Don't be such a prude. Sex isn't sinful.... it's awesome! There's nothing like getting sweaty and nasty with the person you love. Being raped by an invisible deity is NOT on my list of favorite things to do. It might be interesting, but no.

There was no virgin birth, the jesus story isn't true. Why would any god out there create sex as a means of having children, tell people to "be fruitful and multiply", and then say the means of doing just that is sinful? It doesn't make sense because it isn't true. There is no God and sex isn't sinful, just concieve the natural way and get over the sin thing.

I don't know why everybody makes such a big deal about it .It's not all that hard to do.
If one accepts the definition of virginity that says that in the absence of penetration a woman is a virgin then virgin birth is very possible and probably happens on a regular basis.
If seminal fluid is deposited outside of a woman's body in a suitable environment for it's survival then it is entirely possible for the sperm within that fluid to find their way to their intended destination and to fulfill their biological purpose.
The end result of that process is a pregnant virgin
Just to be current You may want to try the back seat of the SUV method rather than the older back seat of the Bonneville method .
Good luck

Fellatio.

Seriously, did you know that you can get pregnant by oral sex? I didn't know either, until I took an abstinence-only Sex Ed course!

Alternately, you could go to church every day and pray really, really hard.

No, seriously. You're obviously not very bright if you think that you can get pregnant without some kind of sexual contact. It takes a physical human sperm and a physical human egg to make a baby, dipstick, and that means allowing real, physical human sperm into your body in one way or another.

there is no way to get pregnant like mary because god had blessed her with jesus.and if you read the bible you'd understand why god made mary pregnant in the first place.the only way to do it without having sinful sex is by fertility drugs, sperm donor, inverto etc.hope this helps.

No You can not.

Mary is a special case to accomplish the Holy Will of God which was planned before the creation of the earth and Heaven.

God's Holy will was fulfilled by Jesus Christ born to a Virgin by Holy Spirit.

Marriage is not a sin and sex after marriage is not at all sin. "Man + Woman" is God's Design.

Actually the Blessed Virgin Mary was really drenched in Holy Sperm from head to toe like the Early Church Fathers report! Why doesn't anybody talk about it? Is it Holy Prudishness?

GOSPEL OF SAINT BARTHOLOMEW

Chapter II (2)
3 Bartholomew therefore said unto Peter: Thou that art the chief, and my teacher, draw near and ask her. But Peter said to John: Thou art a virgin and undefiled and thou must ask her.
4 And as they all doubted and disputed, Bartholomew came near unto her with a cheerful countenance and said to her: Thou that art highly favored the tabernacle of the Most High, unblemished we, even all the apostles, ask thee to tell us how thou didst conceive the incomprehensible.
5 But Mary said unto them: Ask me not concerning this mystery. If I should begin to tell you, fire will issue forth out of my mouth and consume all the world.
6 But they continued yet the more to ask her. And she, for she could not refuse to hear the apostles, said: Let us stand up in prayer

14 And when she had ended the prayer she began to say unto them: Let us sit down upon the ground; and come thou, Peter the chief, and sit on my right hand and put thy left hand beneath mine armpit; and thou, Andrew, do so on my left hand; and thou, John, the virgin, hold together my bosom; and thou, Bartholomew, set thy knees against my back and hold my shoulders, lest when I begin to speak my bones be loosed one from another.
15 And when they had so done she began to say: When I abode in the temple of God, on a certain day there appeared unto me one in the likeness of an angel.
16 And straightway the veil of the temple was rent and there was a very great earthquake, and I fell upon the earth, for I was not able to endure the sight of him.
17 But he put his hand beneath me and raised me up, and I looked up into heaven and there came a cloud of dew and sprinkled me from the head to the feet, and he wiped me with his robe.

Sweetheart, sex is not a sinful act, if you are married. You need to be in the act to procreate.
