Do you not know that the devil knows the Bible better than you? Christ being born of a virgin was known a few thousand years before Christ was born. Why do you think the devil made Herod kill all the children from 2 years down? The devil tried hard to stop the will of God, because the devil knew the Word of God. All false religions duplicate the God of the Holy Bible because the entire world knows only what God gave them to know. Without Christ we are nothing. God is LIFE.
You are correct. God could have come as a full grown man, but then God could not say that He had been tempted in every way as man is tempted, yet without sin. It took a Sinless man to go to the Cross of Calvary. Only Christ could fulfill that position.

Jesus was born human because he was to go through all of the things that we go through, all the same temptations, the same struggles that everyone else does, but without sinning. Just because God is omnipotent doesn't mean he's without self-control. No, virgin birth wasn't a common excuse for illegitimate pregnancy, because claiming you gave birth to the Messiah falsely would have been a far more grevious crime than sex out of wedlock.
Jesus was born fully God, but also fully human, he was 200% person. As a human, he went through all of the things humans go through. As God, he had the ability to overcome all things according to his will.

One winter night a man who had serious doubts about the wisdom of Jesus, was sitting in his home and heard a loud thump against his front window. He got up to see what was going on and as he looked out the window a bird crashed into it, then another, and another. Fearing for the safety of the birds he ran out and tried to shoo them away, waving his arms frantically and shouting. He then ran to his barn and turned on the lights so that they could see and tried to direct the birds to the light, warmth and safety of the barn. But the birds continued to crash into his window. The man thought, "If only I were a bird I could tell them about the barn and they would understand!" Then the realization came to him of the wisdom of why God came to us the the form of a man, born of the Virgin Mary. If he had just appeared many would wonder who He was and where He really came from. Having been born among them, many more listened to him. And have found the light, warmth, and safety of His home.

God did not do that for himself. he did it for use to see. if he just appeared as a full grown man then he would be no different then the lunatic that thinks he is Jesus that lives in Florida some ware. God was born from a virgin. and lived a sinless life on earth then was sacrificed. and it has been often imitated but never duplicated.

He had to live his entire life as a human in order to keep the commandments perfectly so mankind could be saved.
Why must you persecute Christians? If an inspection in beliefs is what you wish. Challenge your own evolution. A simple challenge, re-create life using the periodic table. OR have top scientist do this. What do you do with your belief in evolution when you find out this is impossible? Do you then also have to rely on faith to except your beliefs?

u know thats what i was just thinkin about this morning, I have no idea, I wonder though. Maybe because he was meant to change the lives of others that way. And because it shows that he lived in our shoes so he can prove that anything can be done. And to show that we have the power.

Why would you assume it was a bother to be born and grow up?
God the Son was born and became the man/diety we know as Jesus because God wanted to experience everything we experience as a human being. That included birth, maturation, suffering, dispair, death and even hell after death.
Maybe what you see as a "bother" only looks that way to a finite human mind. To God it is a wisdom and a generosity of love that few human beings ever begin to understand.

because people would more likely follow someone who was born just like them and who grew up and faced all the same hardships and was poor like them. Why would they listen to someone who just popped out of thin air. they might be scared away then....
Jesus wasn't only their teacher, he was their friend. he had to relate to the people to catch their attention. that's why he used parables that were easy for people of the day to understand.
