Allow me to ask you this:

After Jesus death, when the apostles were leading the congregations and appointing "older men" to lead them. Did those 1st century Christians have a CHOICE about whether to teach circumcision or to abstain from fornication or to abstain from blood or to LISTEN to the direction given by the apostles and older men?

Think about it. (Acts 15:28, 29)

The structure of the organization of JWs is not without precedent, my friends

Forty days after his resurrection (Ascension), the Christian Gospels narrate that Jesus instructed His disciples thus: "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of time." (Mathew 28:18-20)

That right their has always made me suspicious of the church. 40 DAYZ later the man talks about an f'in church.... I'm calling BULL, if he wanted that church, if he felt we needed a church, he would of said it WAY before hand. But jesus had ideals about religion to be praticed as a spirutality not a organized religion, NOT govnerment controlled, thats just lame, mans institution of social control, controlling religion, yea jesus assumed we were all holy and perfect after his cross experience and figured we could EASILY profect his word afterwards, wow I believe that. It was the f'in ROMANS that did this to a great religion, they butchered it, and used it to control their people, thats the facts. They degraded the word of jesus and god, such is the nature of man.

You can pretend that man can play the telephone game flawlessly, but buddy I was in elementary school when I learned that man can't talk to man, without twisting the truth. Same for adults, so please history paints a different picture then your telephone game explaination of how one man talked to another man that'd said one man, heard this from jesus, yea I'm game..... Would make more sense that a HUGE empire finding that a new way of thinking was causing revalution and social uprest would do the smart thing and control it, such again is human....

But I myself CAN NOT in any way say that the christian religion hasn't been a force of change that is close to godlessness, of course not without its deadends... *cough* cursades *cough*

But choice from a psychological preception doesn't exsist really in cases of tradition, which this has been, its a matter of indentity, so technically, no they didn't, not a good one ether way, comformity is a big deal and when your looking at two very distinct religions, common sense picks christianity everytime, so no, because it was a social evolution.... but that hasn't stop people from influcencing it.... but that takes time

It's really simple,

Ist century Christians as well as "Every" living human being has the choice whether or not to accept God's salvation.

Think about it!

Acts 2:21
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
