it is a hard read-i have done it over half a dozen times-i think that if it wasnt for the religious aspect you couldnt sell ten copies and nine would go to the authors mother-as for a movie-with special effects we can make the most boring movie line interesting so yea it might make a great movie---just my thoughts-smile and enjoy the day

No actually. The bible is a terribly written book, even with all the murder and mayhem and its evil god.
Though the fundies do have a tendancy to make any nutbag movie based on it into a hit.

Not really.
There are some stories in the Bible which are decent reading, and some of them have been elaborated on and made into movies. However, taken as a whole, it is too disconnected to make into a movie.

No not really, why would those who believe in the bible want the Hebrew God to be presented with all the faults of a human. The bible shows the Hebrew God to be prone to anger, a killer, breaking his own rules, jealous and so on.

Whether it is fiction or not, it is not a bad read.
Especially if you read it with no religion whatsoever

Nah, I like happy endings and character development. Oh, and a plot. Plots are good.

I think the Bible is pretty boring, all of those hard to pronounce names and 'begats' and violence. No thank you!

It is a little violent. Although it has some great sex scenes.
