The researchers in Coke found that more women than men drank diet Coke. This was because men found diet Coke to be too feminine, as watching calorie intake is perceived to be something a women would do.
For this reason Coke Zero was launched (slightly different formula) with what Coke felt was a more masculine name and packaging.
It seems to have worked - the power of advertising.

Diet coke taste different because of the sweetner and does taste better, but coke zero has less sugar than normal coke and tastes similar.

I love coke zero, it has more of a flavor with less of the carbonation that comes up and makes your throat react funny. I also think zero might have more caffeine.

I think Coke Zero tastes more like regular coke than diet coke does...but all coke is gross in my opinion...Pepsi is much better...

its a different taste , i dont like either prefer pepsi max. the coke zero was designed to appeal to men as they thought that men werent buying diet coke cos of the name.

coke zero has zero caleries and has that effervecence as same as normal coke
but diet coke has less calorie but not szero n the efervecence is not that strong
