The results on Google are mostly Dutch language, but there's no such word: they'ra all mis-spellings (of verzend or verzendt). It is certainly NOT the perfect tense form of the word corresponding to "dispatched" as stated below: in fact verzonden is the perfect tense form of the word corresponding to "dispatched". Why anyone would attempt to make categorical statements about Dutch merely because he knows Africaans... well, whatever!

The way you have written it it is not a German word. If you could give the context - or where you read it it would be helpful to determine which language it really is. Everything else would be guessing as we cannot see if there is any typo in it.

It is Dutch, and it is the perfect tense form of the word corresponding to "dispatched". It is not German. The German would be "abgeshickt". In my language the word is "versend".
