It sounds like your aunt has a special gift. Also, going to heaven every night is called astral projection and many people can do this. I've always found that fascinating. However, if she is completely delusional then she may have a mental illness such as Schizophrenia. If she seems fine except for this, then l maybe you should start being more open minded. You might learn something from her.

It might be a symptom of psychosis; hallucinations (seeing and hearing things that aren't there), delusions (believing things are happening that aren't really happening).

However, some people just have very usual beliefs and aren't really psychotic at all. I know some people who are really into things like reincarnation, flying saucers, and so on. I have been around a lot of psychotic people and these people aren't really like that--they just have unusual beliefs.

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. But people with real psychosis usually have other behavior that is "not normal." Like facial expressions that don't seem to go with their emotions, laughing but not smiling, weird body postures and gestures, odd ways of dressing like wearing their clothes inside out, wanting to withdraw from other people most of the time, and so on.

If your aunt has no other weird behavior like that, maybe she just has unusual beliefs that aren't shared by most people.

There's a lady I work with who is really into UFOs, but she shows up to work and gets along with everybody, I don't think there is anything wrong with her.

Another person who I work with has a son with Schizophrenia. Last year, he started yelling at neighbors during Halloween time because they had pumpkins for decorations--"Is this what you spend your money on? What's wrong with you?" Another time he almost set the bathroom on fire because he said it had to be "ritually saved from evil spirits" or something like that. Also, he hardly ever smiles and he usually looks dirty like he doesn't take a bath. That's really a lot different from the lady who likes UFOs, and I hope that makes sense.

Wow.....it means she is able to gain entry into the 'other' world.....many people have had such experiences.....T. Lobsang Rampa a Buddhist monk was one....another one was the Swedish person Emmanuel Swedenberg. Travelling back in time or having bygone memories of other life times, are all there......About her soul going to heaven every day, especially when sleeping, is called 'out of the body experience'.
But be careful because many mental diseases can mimic these conditions. Delusions, hallucinations, come under this category.

I don't know the name of your aunt's condition, but you may find this short video of Neurologist Ramachandran talking about similar cases fascinating.
