no formula should only be formula, you can give it seprate
after 1 year they get the nutrients from whole milk and other foods anyway so theres no need to continue with formula

Yeah it is ok, I did it to wean my son off from formula. Just don't use as much formula as you usually do with water.
If you put 4 oz of milk only use 1 scoop of formula and so on until he can take it without formula. As it is not needed once they turn 1 for nutrition. Hope this helps

do not put it in the milk, but if you are concerned that he is not getting enough, you can offer him a step 2 formula made for children up to age 24 months or try adding 1 box of the individual SILK Very Vanilla (or Chocolate) Soy milks to the diet each day. They are packed with nutrients and added vitamins and minerals. My dagger loves them and they are the perfect size for her 2 year old hands.

I mixed milk with my son's formula when I was trying to wean him off formula. When he turned a year old I stopped formula completely. If he is healthy and has a balanced diet he should not need formula

I have seen a follow up formula on the shelves by th formula section. I believe it's for 12 months and up. Maybe you could give that a try?

Good luck!

Mimi is right. Theres no reason to, theres no nutrients in the formula that he's not getting from the milk and food at this point. You'd only be adding calories at most...

I did that for a while.

I was afraid he wasnt eating too well, so I added formula (1 scoop + 2 oz water) to his milk.

Whole milk should be plenty, and along with his food he should get enough nutrients in his body. They do have infant vitamines and such too.Ask your doctor or better yet ask your pharmicist.

no it will make him sick and damage his stomach one or the other never mix them

if your worried about if hes getting enough ask the doctor about vitamins

as long as he is eating three balanced meals and two healthy snacks with a cup or two of milk he should be fine dont worry so much
