Non-Muslims of our society get their information on Islam from sites like this, any radio, mostly from people who has no knowledge of Islam but have all the wrong answers to offer regarding Islam, other word all the wrong information gathered from everywhere, very little from TV and the Koran ..

2. the media - news on TV, & Aljazeera, & newspapers
3. the violence of Muslims across the globe e.g. beheading innocent people in Irag, Pakistan, Afghanistan; suicide bombers in Palestine & Israel, Sept 11 2001, Bali 2002, etc.
4.the 'religion of peace' demonstration in London
5. Religions & Cults' course
6. The Internet
7. Yahoo! Answers

Mostly from my comparative religions text book.
I tried talking to Muslims, but they all wanted to convert me. And I decided any religion focused more on conversion than education isn't worth learning about anyway...

by far my main source of information about islam is from my moslem friends (none of whom are very devout, but several of whom grew up in moslem countries).
after that mainly the bbc (though i also watch al-jazheera several times a week).
i also lived in a moslem region at one time (the country was multi-faith, but there were distinct moslem areas with partial implementation of the shariah).

Each bomb blast that kills innocent people, each torture of people just for wanting freedom, each miscarriage of justice such as the woman sentenced after being gang raped, each lie to further Islam and etc. tells me all I need to know.
