It seems like non-profit religions tend to discard scientists like Darwin, doctors who promote blood transfusions after car accidents, and lawyers who work for the ACLU, etc.

Why?

- Scientists oft change their findings for gov't grant $
- #1 cause of Death in USA is: Going to the doctor
- Bible flat out says: woe unto "lawyers": Luke 11:46

Pst: it's been the age of GRACE for 2000 years.
Can we move on, from awful lawful to grace us.
The end of the God shew is already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

"doctors who promote blood transfusions after car accidents"??? Only the Jehovah's Witnesses condemn blood transfusions as far as I know, so what are you talking about here?

Edit - To Neweyes777 - How do you know that most scientists are Christians? Where do you get this information??

You see theologians deal with a core foundation called FAITH but Docotrs, Scientist or Lawyers are Intellectual derelicts that deal base on thier core foundation called rationality , logic and tangible evidence , hence they both have different core foundation that acts like water and oil

Theologians use various forms of analysis and argument that are philosophical, ethnographic, historical to help understand, explain, test, critique, defend or promote any of a myriad of religious topics. But Scientist Doicotrs need tangible evidence , solid proof , rational explanation and so !!
Thats why !!

here is a reason that may cause you to ask more questions:

because they believe that their perception and interpretation of reality provides a sufficient enough explanation for what humans have in the past and continue currently to observe and experience.

the oddness of reality is that no humans can truly explain the why's and what's of the universe with any degree of concrete certainty. everyone is trying to explain the unknown and no one really wants to admit that this is essentially impossible for humans to do. it has been this way for centuries of human existence.

unfortunately, most people seem to assume that religion and secular explanations of human experience are diametrically opposite. the more appropriate reality would indicate that both are attempts to accomplish the same futile goal from 2 different but not opposite perspectives.

I don't know where you get your info, but apparently it's not a reliable source. There are also those other than "religious" people who decry these things.
Just because someone's a theologian does not make them a believer in any religion, just someone who has studied theology.

A) Not all who call themselves "Christian" are anything like.

B) Those who are Christians are a very mixed bag of people, cultures, societies and histories. One size does NOT fit all!

C) Being a triple Doc myself, I think I'm all the proof you need that a scientist can be faithfilled. It only takes one black swan to conclusively prove that not all swans are white. I can hardly discard myself, now can I?

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) still exists.

I am a proud member of the ACLU and we count many classic conservatives among our membership. Next time you want to level an accusation, check your data.

We protect the constitutional rights of all.

It's easier to dismiss them than to take a cold, hard look at one's world view. They would prefer not to be confronted with the difficult questions being posed by holding on to certain naive beliefs. Dismissing evolution is simply one aspect of it. But to even believe that the Bible was just given to man "as is" one must be pretty ignorant of the book's origin and the historical process which lead to its creation. But some people prefer ignorance over doubt.
