"Can any Muslim write a COHERANT (i.e., non-Troll) defense of the Mohammed teddy bear verdict?"

Not surprisingly, it was up for over 5 hours yesterday before being removed and had ZERO responses.

A few Muslims apparently found that "question" insulting.

Ya know, it takes more than one to get a question deleted.

Because you're right. I heard the other day on Family Guy (a show I love to watch) a guy said that he was the Lord Jesus Christ and he's going to go get drunk...I know it's a joke, but it was the same thing as a teddy bear being called Mohammad. It's funny how Islam will scream and cry when the Pope calls them violent, then they go and kill a nun! It's like "I'm not a murderer!" SMACK!
....
Either way, they can't provide a reasonable defense. But if CHRISTIANS get violent, woe be unto them...People are hypocrites and don't even know it.

Number One - there is no defense, whether from a muslim or not. Many male children in Islamic countries are called Mohammed. I know quite a few. Yet their parents were not arrested.
Number Two - no muslim is able to come up with a defense for this stupidity that makes any sense,
Don't hold your breath.

I guess 2 or more people found it offensive. When my Father died (he was buried the day before Thanksgiving) I asked for prayer. I had 45 very nice responses and it was removed! Yahoo!
gave me the reason that I was soliciting! My Father died! I can understand that there are people who come into this site who wouldn't care if my Father had died or another lady's son was fighting in Iraq & someone reported this Mother for asking for prayer. Yahoo staff has no compassion! The yahoo staff has to review before violating a question. Many prayer requests are removed! Yet still others remain.I think the system needs fixing.

Your question does not seem offensive to me, but if it was removed I guess someone else did not feel the same way. It's not really a big deal though, is it. It's only Yahoo Answers, not anything that people will want to read a month from today.

I'll top that for you:

I had a question removed 3 days AFTER it was resolved.

Is it safe to say that I pissed someone off?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If their god isn't big enugh to take it, then they have a very small god indeed.

More than one person reported it, I guess.

Or maybe it was because you spelled "coherent" wrong! :-P
