I could see Greg going there, you really get the sense that he hasn't been real happy at Roush/Fenway this last year. If you watch Inside Nextel Cup you probably know what I mean. He made a lot of comments about being frustrated with their lack of performance and the poor handling of his cars this year. He played the part of being a company man and saying things tactfully but he was noticeably pissed off. Matt, on the other hand, is going to continue to be there flagship driver. I would love to see him go back to the bowtie, where his racing roots from Wisconsin are, but just don't see Jack letting him get away. He has realtives that work for the GM truck assembly plant in Janesville and most of them drive a Chevy.

There was a discussion on another forum about the "just for fun" topic, "IF Matt Kenseth ever left Roush, which team do you think he would go to." Five out of nine of the participants said "DEI," It was all in fun, and very hypothetical, not based on facts at all.
Now Da Biff might be a different story. If DEI offers a better contract than what he can get with Roush, would he go? The only reason they would want another driver is to swap points with to keep Paul Menard in the top thirty five.
Oops, I think I started ANOTHER rumor.

I honestly think that would be a great thing for the sport. There needs to be more competition among the top teams, and this would help get DEI back on top. They'll get over their equipment issues, and having quality drivers helps them with their cash flow. Right now you've got HMS, JGR, and Roush as the big three. DEI needs these drivers to push them to the next level.

Heard the rumor, heard Matt say no way, he is locked till 2010 and in negotiations to go further with Roush/Fenway...Biffle has said he will get through the 08 season and then negotiate his contract and looks forward to being at Roush

Snake...What did those spa gals do, they messed with your brain... Kenseth, not going anywhere, he'll probably finish his career at Roush-Fenway, now Bif, well if the money is right, its hard to say..But the real issue here is DEI! Is there equipment going to get better, if it doesn't no drivers will want to go there, Big stuff has to happen over there...Jack can send Jamie Mac over there......Roush-Fenway needs to keep there great drivers, Cousin Carl, Matt, and Bif.. They don't need DEI torture....Snake you might need another vacation..But you gave us something else to talk about between now and Feb.. 81 days and counting..

it slide. One more thing snake have Superdave send you the image of the Tony Stewart coke bottles he has, and try to figure a way to get them on so everyone can see them;
that should keep everyone busy until Feb.

Roush has to get down to 4 teams. I wouldnt be suprised if Biffle left.
